Online Employment Application

Please take a few minutes and read the following information about employment with our company.  The information will help you decide if our company is the right choice for you.

  • Anyone applying for work should understand that all employees are expected to be able to fill all shifts.  We are a company that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

  • If your employment history includes owning a business that is now closed, it will be necessary for you to provide proof of such business with evidence such as, business license, tax records, magazine ads, newspaper ads, articles, or any other evidence you may have at the time of interview.

  • Some computer knowledge is necessary for all Dispatcher / Clerical positions.  Since you are filling this out on the Internet, you probably have already met that requirement.

  • If selected for an interview, you will be expected for complete a basic math skills test. The test is used to determine your ability to accurately complete necessary paperwork and make change for customers.  The test includes basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and a few story problems.

  • Wages are dependant upon experience.

  • We will generally respond to your online application within 3 days, usually via email or phone call.  Applications may also be submitted in person at our offices at anytime.

  • Dispatchers are expected to have mid-level computer skills and be able to monitor our security cameras. 

  • Drivers are expected to have at least basic automotive knowledge. Services provided include but not limited to: towing vehicles, jump starting, changing tires, dollying vehicles if necessary.  The position requires the occassional lifting of heavy objects (up to 100 lbs).  You must be able to take a truck home with you when you are on-call.

  • City Wide Towing does drug testing! We do pre-employment, random, post accident and reasonable suspicion testing.  If you use drugs, don't even bother completing an application.  It would only be a waste of time.

  • All employees are expected to perform other duties as assigned. This will probably include some cleaning, weeding, washing vehicles and other miscellaneous jobs as needed.

  • All employees are expected to be able to write accurately and legibly.

  • You must have a telephone. 

  • If you are to be hired by the company, you will be required to attest to your identity and employment eligibility, and to present documents confirming your identity and employment eligibility. You cannot be hired if you cannot comply with these requirements.
